About the role

We are looking to hire a Thematic Manager (IBCB) to support our team to develop strategies and monitor the effective implementation of the SRLM program (State Rural Livelihood Mission) in various states. The role will contribute to overall programme quality through the conceptualization, coordination, and implementation of enhanced monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning strategies, including developing high quality written products. The emphasis is on streamlining processes and tools for programme reach, efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability throughout the project cycle across all intervention states.


Key responsibilities: 

  • Planning and strategizing for key thematic areas
  • Program monitoring and hand holding support to implementing agency towards achieving program milestones. Liaison with implementing agencies on a continuous basis.
  • Training and Capacity Building on IBCB and Financial inclusion vertical.
  • Ensure consistent, high quality beneficiary data is captured and documented 
  • Develop program progress tracking tools and monitoring regular up-dation.
  • Understand research methodologies and effectively   use   data for analytical   reports   and visualizations
  • Create detailed progress reports and documents by using information from relevant sources, government departments and on ground implementation, to be shared with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct active research on best practices in other states/schemes for potential replication
  • As an ambassador of the organisation, and create case studies, blogs and write-ups

A good fit is someone with

Experience

  • Atleast 5-6 years of experience of working in NRLM programs at district or state level
  • Prior experience of working in project management, documentation and report writing.
  • Experience in undertaking qualitative and quantitative research methods and ability to weave data into briefs and reports.  
  • In-depth knowledge of evaluating projects and analyzing project impact
  • Experience in handling and working with large government datasets 
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in having worked with SRLMs.

Essential Qualifications 

  • Master’s   degree   in   a   related   field (Social Work, Public Policy, Economics, Statistics or related fields
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Willingness for extensive travel for meetings/orientation/trainings as required
