About Veddis Foundation

Veddis Foundation invests in organisations working at the intersection of technology, policy, and impact. With a mission to create deep and irreversible social change, we also work directly with the government on effective public service delivery. We take an evidence-based approach to supporting institutions doing radical work and hope to bring analytical rigour and a collaborative spirit to philanthropic investments. Since we began our journey in 2006 (as Letz Dream Foundation), we have worked directly with multiple state governments and invested in over 100 organisations, representing some of the most innovative initiatives in the social sector. In September 2021, we announced a Rs. 100 crore commitment over the next three years making this one of the largest public commitments to philanthropy in India . Read more about us here.

  • Report on output and outcome level data on a regular basis and communicate regularly with the project teams (internal and grantee orgs)
  • Orient the team on monitoring indicators, research objective and methodology
  • Conduct field visits to provide training, technical assistance, and support, as well as to ensure that M&E and learning tools are understood and being implemented effectively
  • Develop and prepare internal reports of status, progress and outcomes of monitoring and evaluation activities
  • Ensure that the MEL framework incorporates a system-wide approach, is flexible and responsive, and build ownership within Veddis and other stakeholders
